Hellfire Harlots Prepare For First Bout of 2013

Nottingham roller derby team, the Hellfire Harlots are preparing to take on Royal Windsor Roller Girls in their first bout of 2013.

The bout will be held at the Lee Westwood Centre, Nottingham Trent University’s Clifton Campus at 12.45pm on Saturday 2nd March 2013.

The Hellfire Harlots have never played Royal Windsor before but with both teams having an excellent record in the run up to this bout, can the Harlots light a fire up Royal Windsor or will Royal Windsor turn Nottingham’s Harlots in to well-behaved ladies in waiting… who will reign victorious?

Before the Hellfire Harlots step up to face Royal Windsor, there will be a warm up mixed bout featuring skaters from teams across the UK. This time, the Dark Knights will face the Crown Jewels. If you’re new to roller derby, then coming along to see two bouts is a great opportunity to see what the sport is all about as well as being great value for money!

And as a treat to roller derby fans of the East Midlands, the bout will host stalls to support small, local businesses, there will be home made cakes and cookies available to purchase and as always, the Hellfire Harlots will be holding a raffle with some brilliant prizes, with a percentage of the proceeds going to charity.

Throughout 2012, the Hellfire Harlots helped to raise money for chosen charity, CP Sport and will be presenting the charity with a cheque at the bout. CP Sports will be at the bout to raise greater awareness about the good they do and how donations are spent so make sure you stop to say hello.

Sports fans in Nottingham can get their tickets on the door but can get a discount if they buy in advance from http://www.skiddle.com/events/11799294/ – don’t miss out!
